The engineering contract for equipment supply, transportation, installation and commissioning for Khe Bo Hydropower Station was at last formally signed in Hanoi on April 18, 2009 after the long-termed untiring efforts of UREC.

The Economic Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, the supreme leaders of both UREC and the owner took part in the magnificent signing ceremony together. Mr. Feng Ke, Chairman of UREC, reviewed the projects of hydropower and shipbuilding that UREC had contracted and completed in Vietnam and expressed his confidence and best wishes on the successful accomplishment of Khe Bo Hydropower Station Project.

Khe Bo Hydropower Station with the installed capacity of 50MWx2 is located in Nghe An Province，the owner of which is Vietnam National Electricity Development Co., Ltd.. UREC has been ultimately awarded with the contract of supplying the mechanical and electrical equipment and services of transportation, installation and commissioning for the hydropower station after defeating several competitors from both interior and abroad in the international bidding.
